Terms & Conditions of The National Association of Wedding Officiants

The National Association of Wedding Officiants has the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time. Stay up to date by checking these Terms and Conditions on a regular basis.

Membership Agreement

In a perfect world, terms and conditions on memberships and use of websites would not be necessary; however, we must ask that all members agree and adhere to the following.

Rules of Membership

All members must agree and follow the Terms and Conditions of The National Association of Wedding Officiants (www.nawoonline.com).

All Members must agree and follow the Code of Ethics of The National Association of Wedding Officiants (www.nawoonline.com)

Rules of Referrals

All non-members agree to pay the National Association of Wedding Officiants the sum of $50 for each ceremony secured through our "Locate and Officiant" service. This fee must NOT be added to your normal rate of service or passed along as a cost to couples in any way.

All members are asked to consider a gift to the National Association of Wedding Officiants if they feel blessed by the service we offer and have secured a ceremony.

You agree that if not available at the time the couple contacts you, you will not transfer this referral or suggest other Officiants for the ceremony.

You agree not to take this information given by the couple and then collect a referral fee from another party.

Certificates

All members will keep a current certification (State Issued Certificate, Ordination, Ministry, etc) with The National Association of Wedding Officiants (www.nawoonline.com).

Use of NAWO Name/Logos and requirements of Logo Placement

All members of The National Association of Wedding Officiants (www.nawoonline.com) who have a website for public view must display one of the NAWO logo's (HTML code must be placed in its entirety) on their main index page. This HTML code will aid us in tracking information to and from our website.

The National Association of Wedding Officiants (www.nawoonline.com) will supply these logos from our site and take the burden of bandwidth.

All mentions of The National Association of Wedding Officiants (www.nawoonline.com) must be used in the full text. "NAWO" is not permitted.

Current Contact Information

All members will keep The National Association of Wedding Officiants (www.nawoonline.com) informed of any changes to certification, address and personal information originally submitted in the Membership Application.

Forums

Members will follow the terms of the Forum. All visitors will be tracked by login and password and IP address. Violations will result in cancellation of Membership and report filed with ISP.

Use of this Website

Everything on this website (i.e. images and text) is the property of The National Association of Wedding Officiants (www.nawoonline.com) and its affiliated vendors. You may electronically copy or print pages from this website for personal use.

Membership Fees

All members must stay current with Membership dues to The National Association of Wedding Officiants (www.nawoonline.com). Failure to stay current will result in cancellation. Payments can be paid by check or can be made online via our PayPal account.
